My own art walk

I caught up with my friend Alex yesterday and it didn't feel like any time had passed, but the reality is we hadn't seen each other for far too long. And it wasn't totally a social visit either--she's helping me on something that is still secret. I told her I would send her a photo of a mural that she painted in my daughters' room, and I saw it again with fresh eyes and was re-smitten (is it a word?) with it. Totally free-hand, even though it looks like a stencil, and totally effortless. I think we chatted the whole time she painted. And her actual art? Amazing!
